THE ROLE
SchoolKit is seeking independent contractors who have experience with the 2018 Carnegie Learning Math Solution curriculum to serve as Instructional Coaches, Training Facilitators, and Content Designers to support our partnerships with K-12 school districts implementing the Carnegie Learning Texas Math Solution.
Applicants can apply for one or all of the roles described below.
EXPERIENCE
For the roles described above, experience teaching or leading the 2018 Carnegie Learning Math Solution for grades 6 - 12 is required. Experience using the MATHia learning platform is encouraged.
Coaches and facilitators also must have the ability to travel at least once a month to deliver in-person coaching sessions and training with significant availability to provide training during the summer (ideally, 2-4 days per month). This work is scheduled to begin in mid-June.

- Instructional Coaches will provide coaching (remote and onsite) to district and school leaders who are in the process of implementing the Carnegie Learning Texas Math Solution (Grades 6 - 12). They will use SchoolKit’s tools and approach to help leaders deepen their knowledge of specific math content and skill with instructional leadership activities (leading instructional planning, conducting observations and providing feedback, and responding to student data) to strengthen instruction in their buildings.
- Training Facilitators will facilitate full- and half-day trainings (remote and onsite) for teachers and leaders that are focused on the Carnegie Learning Texas Math Solution (Grades 6 - 12).
- Content Designers will develop professional learning content for teacher and leader training focused on Carnegie Learning Texas Math Solution (Grades 6 - 12).
