CONTEXT
The School District of Philadelphia is undertaking new curriculum adoption and partnering with SchoolKit for support throughout this adoption. As a SchoolKit contractor, you will work directly with SDP instructional staff through large and small group professional development, 1:1 conversations, and training modules.

Available projects:
  1. Prepare SDI Facilitators for June 2026 Teacher Institute: Six 2-hour remote afterschool model PLCs for district-selected facilitators (teachers, coaches, and other academic leaders). Two 2-hour onsite afterschool rehearsals and group coaching for district-selected facilitators One full onsite day of coaching support to observe and provide feedback to district-selected facilitators
  2. Math and ELA Central Office Implementation Support: 2-hour onsite 1:1 coaching with central office and/or school-based instructional support roles. This consists of 2-4 sessions per coachee. These sessions can take place after school or during the school day as determined by the SchoolKit coach and coaching participant. Half-day onsite training for central office instructional staff.
There are no limits on the hours available with this contract, and candidates can work on both projects. Preference will be given to candidates who can provide multiple services within each of these projects

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years experience with K-12 Illustrative Mathematics, EL and/or Study Sync/SDP-created 9-12 ELA curricular resources, required. You will be asked which curricula and level of familiarity in the application 
  • Prior experience executing professional development for educators, required.
  • Contractors must be available for remote onboarding in late August-early September and able to deliver remote and onsite services September 2025 through June 2026.
COMPENSATION
  • The hourly rate for remote sessions ranges from $90-$105 per hour and is dependent on experience
  • A "half-day" (3-4 hours) and a "quarter-day" (2 hour) rate for on-site sessions will be calculated on a case-by-case basis. These rates are intended to help offset any incidental costs (meals, rideshare, etc)
  • SchoolKit will cover any incurred costs of hotels, flights, and train rides (Amtrak) for in-person engagements
