THE ROLE
SchoolKit is seeking Canvas LMS Designer to support in designing asynchronous professional learning for educators. These projects consist of creating course content in the Canvas LMS including transitioning content-specific plans and resources into Canvas and building out all course functionalities. We anticipate that this role will launch in Mid-August and extend at least through January of 2022. This is a remote consulting role with variable hours depending on availability. Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
An ideal applicant has experience designing content for adult learners within the Canvas LMS. This person is also highly organized, detail-oriented, and is proficient in using Google Suite applications, as well as Microsoft Office programs, like Word and Powerpoint.
This position is offered at $50/hour.

- Internalizing a “content script” provided by a content designer
- Transforming the “content script” into an interactive learning experience in the Canvas LMS
- Quickly implementing feedback to improve the learning experience in the Canvas LMS
- Collaborating with content designers to ensure alignment between final product and “content script”
